
Royal Iced Wedding Cakes
These cakes use the firmer, traditional Royal icing. Although firmer than the soft cutting icing, properly made Royal icing cuts easily with a sharp knife, and melts in the mouth! Royal icing can be used over sponge type cakes for the upper tiers, but is generally more suited to a rich fruit cake base.
Several of the cakes feature run-out sugar extensions, giving the cake a stunning architectural look.
